Seaforth woman charged with racing in West Perth

A 28-year-old Seaforth woman faces charges after police say she was recorded driving fifty kilometres over the speed limit.

Just after 7:30 Monday night, West Perth OPP say an officer saw a vehicle travelling on Perth Line 24, near Staffa.

The vehicle was stopped by police and the woman was charged with racing, her driver’s license was seized and she was given a driving suspension.

The vehicle was also towed and impounded and police say she has a future court date.
