It’s a prestigious honour for the Artistic Director of the Stratford Festival.
Business/Arts, a national charity that says it shows the power in partnership between business and arts to strengthen Canada’s arts sector, has announced that Antoni Cimolino is this year’s recipient of the Peter Herrndorf Arts Leadership Award.
Selected by a jury of peers, Business/Arts says the award is given to an arts leader who has spent a lifetime dedicated to fostering the arts in Canada.
Cimolino has been with the Stratford Festival for 32 years, beginning as an actor in 1988.
The award is being presented at a gala on November 7th in Toronto.
