A truck driver is recovering from minor injuries after a collision near Atwood.
Perth County OPP say they were called just before noon Tuesday about a collision involving an empty livestock hauler that had gone into the ditch on Perth Line 72, between Road 166 and Road 173.
Police, along with North Perth firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene and the truck driver, believed to be in his fifties, and the only occupant of the vehicle was transported to the hospital.
Police tell MyStratfordNow dot com that a heavy hauler had to be called in to pull the truck out of the ditch and they say charges are pending while an investigation into what happened continues.
The road was closed in the area while investigators were on scene and the truck was removed.
