A ‘switcheroo’ attempt failed miserably on London Road.
The Huron County OPP clocked a pickup truck doing 109 km/h in an 80 km/h zone last Thursday evening.
When they pulled the vehicle over, the driver and passenger switched seats.
The officer on patrol spoke to the 22-year-old male who had been behind the wheel and learned he was a suspended driver with no insurance for the vehicle.
The 45-year-old woman who had jumped into the driver’s seat failed a roadside breath test.
Both now face multiple charges.
