Pride Week continues in Stratford

Pride Week continues in Stratford.

Stratford’s second annual Pride Week takes place until Sunday with several different events taking place including a slow dance and a youth dance at the Masonic Hall as well as a drag show which is set for Saturday.

The week comes to an end on Sunday with a march to Upper Queens Park which will be followed by a picnic in the park and the events are open to all.

Meghan Brideau is one of the organizers of Pride Week in Stratford and she says ideas are already being discussed for next year.

“We’re going to hit the ground running and look at Pride 2020, we’d like to have more events and more things to do and also other events throughout the year and not just for one week in June.”
