Man will be without licence for three months

Police were out in force Tuesday for Canada Day monitoring our roads and highways.

A driver and a passenger with both charged after a traffic stop on Highway 23 near Mitchell that evening.

The 51-year-old man failed a roadside test and then failed two more at the OPP detachment in Sebringville.

He lost his licence for 90 days.

His passenger, a 44-year-old West Perth woman was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Their vehicle was also impounded for a week.
