Judge to decide if man accused in major meth bust will be granted bail

We will soon find out if the man charged in a major meth bust in Stratford will be granted bail.
The Stratford Beacon Herald reports that a judge couldn’t decide on Friday if 41-year-old Harley Schneider should be released on bail and instead decided to withhold her decision until Tuesday.
Schneider faces numerous charges in what Stratford Police are calling one of the biggest meth busts in the city’s history.
His lawyer had asked that his client be released on $3 thousand bail with no surety, saying that he is not likely to reoffend, while the crown argued that Schneider should not be released on bail because of his lengthy criminal record and a history of breaking court orders.
