Howick man faces charges after incident in West Perth

A 49-year-old Howick man faces several charges after police say a motorcycle was stolen in West Perth.
Perth County OPP say they were investigating a report of a suspicious person on Line 24, west of Staffa, when a motorcycle that had been reported stolen the day before was located.
Police say witnesses provided a description of the man that fled from the motorcycle and a male matching the description was found by police a short distance away.
The male has been charged with offences including Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5 thousand and Flight from peace officer.
He was remanded into custody after a bail hearing in Stratford on June 9th.
