Police: Three people from Stratford face numerous charges after home-invasion robbery

Three people from Stratford face numerous charges after police say they carried out a home-invasion robbery.

Stratford Police say they were notified about the robbery around 12:30 Friday morning that happened at a home in downtown Stratford.

Police say a male victim said he had invited two men into his home where they then assaulted him, restrained him, and stole a number of his belongings before they then fled in a vehicle driven by a woman.

Descriptions of the three were given to police who then tracked them to the Drumbo area through tracking devices on the victim’s property.

OPP were notified and officers came to the area however the suspects had fled and they were later located at a hotel in Woodstock by that city’s police force and Stratford Police.

The three suspects, a 40-year-old male, a 29-year-old male and a 35-year-old woman all face charges including Robbery, Forcible Confinement and Assault with a Weapon.

They are being held in custody to attend a bail hearing in Stratford on July 14th.
