Perth County OPP say they are taking steps to improve their visibility in Perth East.
Recently, they say docking stations were installed at the Milverton and Shakespeare Fire Extended Service Offices for notebook computers that officers carry in their cruisers.
Police say that at times, officers have administrative functions to perform that requires them to travel to the Sebringville detachment to complete and they say that with the addition of the docking stations, officers will now be able to complete administrative functions at either fire station.
Staff Sergeant Stephane Pilon, Perth County OPP Operations Manager says that “Officers will have a greater visibility within the Perth East communities and allow anyone wishing to speak with police to attend one of the ESO’s if they see a cruiser at either the Milverton or Shakespeare Fire Stations”.
