A 44-year-old Stratford man has been charged following a vehicle stop in Perth East.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Perth County OPP say an officer from the Sebringville detachment saw a vehicle travelling west on Perth Line 55 east of Monkton.
The vehicle was determined to be speeding over the posted speed limit, according to police, and the vehicle was stopped with the officer determining that the driver was operating the SUV while suspended from driving.
Police say that further investigation revealed that the male driver was not complying with a court order and he was arrested and charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
The driver was held for a bail hearing in Stratford on Wednesday.
