Ontario Provincial Police to host online session on Meth

Ontario Provincial Police across the province, including locally, say Meth continues to have a serious impact on community safety.

With that in mind, a live interactive presentation is being put on on the OPP’s Facebook page Tuesday starting at 7 p.m.

Police say it’s a special opportunity to speak directly with subject matter experts of the OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau about meth which they say is highly addictive and is easy to obtain at a low cost.

The OPP says it’s taking a proactive approach to the increasing presence of meth in Ontario by creating a Meth Strategy.

They say the strategy identifies the need to educate the public about the prevalence and danger of methamphetamine production, trafficking and use in Ontario’s communities.

All are being invited to take part in the online session.
