Pettapiece brings up municipal liability insurance reform once again

Randy Pettapiece is still pushing for municipal liability insurance reform.

He says the current system hurts taxpayers and municipalities.

The Perth-Wellington MPP renewed his call for a solution today during question period:

Pettapiece wanted to know when it’s going to happen:

Pettapiece’s private member’s resolution was supported by all parties, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and over 210 municipalities across the province.

In response Attorney General Madeleine Meilleur failed to give a date when change would be introduced.
