Police are reminding drivers to stay alert behind the wheel after a collision near Milverton that saw a vehicle strike a hydro pole.
First responders were called out to Perth Line 72, between Road 124 and Road 129, around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon after police say a minivan left the road and hit a hydro pole.
The female driver and her four passengers were brought to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver, a 47-year-old Millbank woman, was charged with Careless Driving.
Police say falling asleep at the wheel is a serious concern on our roads and in Canada, 20% of fatal collision are linked to driver fatigue.
