Accessible playground to be built in Stratford’s Shakespeare Park

You will soon find an accessible playground at Shakespeare Park in Stratford.

At their regular meeting Monday night, Stratford City Council voted to approve a bid from Park N Play Design Company Limited for $115,250 to design, supply, deliver and install the new playground.

The work will include adding accessible rubber surface flooring and installing an accessible pathway.

All the funding for the park is coming from the recreation capital reserve fund.
