Stratford’s first cat cafe to open for business this weekend

It’s a business that will be going to the cats.

Stratford’s first and only cat cafe, the Alley Cat Cat Cafe, is set to open its doors to the public for the first time this Saturday and those who drop in will be able to grab a coffee or muffin and then spend time with the cats who call the cafe home in the cat lounge.

The business is divided in two, between the cafe and the lounge, and is located at 1 Market Place in downtown Stratford.

Co-Owner Silke Ware says there will also be feline friends available for adoption.

“We are actually a foster home for cats that are up for adoption that are coming to us from the Feline Friends Network of Stratford, we are also a cafe.”
