A long-time Stratford area travel company has found a new partner.
Blowes Travel and Cruise Centres Incorporated has announced that it is merging with G. Stewart Travel Services Limited, a family travel business based out of Peterborough, effective September First.
By collectively uniting their businesses, their resources, synergies and similar business culture and ethics, the companies say their new corporation will see eleven brick and mortar retail offices, thirty-four home offices, a group tour division, conference and events division and a wholesale division.
They say that the merger adds up to over ninety team members in Ontario under the Carlson Wagonlit Travel brand, who will continue to enhance and meet the needs and expectations of their clients.
Within the upcoming weeks, they say both companies will begin the multi-phase integration, to unite and form the new brand of the Blowes & Stewart Travel Group Ltd.
Blowes Travel and Cruise Centres Incorporated has been a family business for over seventy years.
