Perth County OPP thanking the public after successful Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run

Perth County OPP are saying thank you after another successful trek through the area by the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Special Olympians, police officers, family members and friends from all over Perth County came out to participate in the event which was held Tuesday with participants starting their run in Listowel, heading south to Mitchell, and then over to Sebringville to complete their run.

A total of $1,500 was raised during the 2019 Torch Run from donations and t-shirt sales.

Police say that anyone that is looking to donate to the cause can drop off cash or cheques at the Listowel, Mitchell or Sebringville detachments until September 1st.
