Stratford rolling out new mobile water station

Water McWaterface is set to make its debut in Stratford.

Stratford officials say their new mobile water station, unofficially known as Water McWaterface, will be rolling out Thursday and will be in Market Square from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The portable unit, known as the Hydration Station, is part of the City’s efforts to promote municipal drinking water, and to cut down on single-use plastic water bottles at outdoor events in Stratford.

Officials say that staff will be on hand to answer questions about the use of the water station.

Reusable, BPA-free water bottles will be available for free, while supplies last, to those who stop by and ask for one.
