Green Arc behind schedule

The Green Arc Tire factory in St Marys is five months behind schedule.

The company was supposed to employ 340 people at the old Dana Canada factory in the Stone Town but nothing has materialized yet.

Green Arc says it’s still waiting for the Ministry of the Environment to approve its application while the MOE says Green Arc’s owner still has an unpaid fine from 10 years ago.

Green Arc disputes the MOE’s claim.
