Perth County OPP continue to charge drivers with racing

It doesn’t appear that drivers in Perth County are getting the message when it comes to not speeding while behind the wheel.

Around 1 o’clock last Thursday afternoon, Perth County OPP say an officer saw a vehicle travelling on Perth Road 180, near Cromarty, that was going fifty kilometres over the posted speed limit.

Then around 10:45 Tuesday morning, police say another officer saw a vehicle going 50 kilometres over the posted speed limit on Perth Line 44, near Bornholm.

A 33-year-old Brampton man and a 19-year-old West Perth man each face racing charges with their driver’s licenses seized and both have been suspended from driving.

They each face future court appearances in Stratford.
