Brampton man charged in connection to collision near Listowel that left three people dead

A 38-year-old Brampton man faces charges in connection to a collision near Listowel that left three people dead.

Police say a lengthy and detailed investigation has lead to the charges in relation to the collision that happened on June 21st northwest of Listowel.

They say the driver of the tractor-trailer failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Perth Road 178 and Perth Line 88 which lead to the collision that killed three people from London.

The truck driver has been charged with three counts of Causing Death by Criminal Negligence and one count of Causing Bodily Harm by Criminal Negligence.

He has been released from custody and has a court appearance scheduled for September 30th in Goderich.
