Additional charges laid in connection to Perth East collision

Police say a 33-year-old Huron East man faces additional charges after a collision late last month.
First responders were called out around 3:30 p.m. August 30th to a two-vehicle collision on Perth Line 86 east of Road 124 in Perth East.
Police say a westbound sedan on Line 86 crossed the centre line and entered the eastbound lane striking an eastbound pickup hauling a camper trailer.
The driver of the westbound sedan fled the crash on foot but was found a short time in Milverton.
The man faces charges including Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Failure to stop after accident and Possession of Property.
Anyone with information on what took place is asked to call Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
