It’s almost time for a yearly tradition to get started in our area.
The United Way Perth-Huron is holding the kick-off for their annual campaign Friday in Market Square.
Organizers say the event will feature a harvest lunch with tickets $15 in advance or $20 at the event.
The official presentation and goal announcement will be made at 12:10 p.m.
The UWPH is thanking supporters for their ongoing support for the work they do in the community to address issues like poverty, homelessness and mental health.
Last year, the organization surpassed its annual campaign goal with a total of $1,452,000. raised.
