Perth District Health Unit searching for dog involved in biting incident in Stratford

The search is on for a dog in Stratford that the Perth District Health Unit says was involved in a biting incident.
Just before 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, officials at the PDHU say a dog bit someone at the corner of Mornington and Hibernia Streets.
The dog is described as a medium-sized tan dog with a long snout with dark patches on top of its head, back and hind.
They say the dog was being walked by a man wearing a dark grey ball cap and if the animal isn’t found and verified to have its up-to-date rabies shots, the victim may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
Anyone with information on the animal is asked to call the PDHU.
