New exhibit created to show what it looks like to live on less than a living wage in Huron-Perth

What does it look like to live on less than a living wage in our area?

That’s the idea behind a Photovoice exhibit created by the Huron-Perth Social Research and Planning Council that will be on full display at the Stratford Public Library from the 7th to the 25th of next month.

For the Photovoice Project, the SRPC collaborated with local photographer Terry Manzo to offer workshops to community participants from across the area, who shared their own lived experience through photography.

A Pop-Up location for the Photovoice exhibition is also taking place on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the Bridges Out of Poverty workshop at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Listowel.

The SRPC is operated by United Way Perth-Huron and is made up of volunteer community representatives who are dedicated to the collection, analysis and distribution of information relating to local social trends.
