Second person charged in relation to major drug bust in Listowel and Minto Township

Another person has been charged following a major drug bust in Listowel and Minto Township.

Back on August 28th, police reported that they had seized a large quantity of meth and cash from a vehicle in Minto.

The next day, they say they used search warrants to go into locations in Listowel and Minto where they say they found $218-thousand in drugs, including meth, and $39-thousand in property related to the offence.

Thirty-three-year-old Aaron Walsh from North Perth was arrested at the time and faces drug trafficking charges.

Now, 32-year-old Melissa Luu-Tran from North York has been charged with trafficking meth in connection to the investigation.

Police add that around $71-thousand in offence related property was seized during her arrest.
