Staff at the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board could be on strike come Monday.
In tweets sent out Friday afternoon, officials say “The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board’s Educational Assistants, Designated Early Childhood Educators, Library Technicians, Secondary Hall Monitors and Office Assistants are represented by CUPE.”
“The union is in a legal strike position and has notified the Board that job action may begin as early as September 30th, 2019. Negotiations are scheduled for this weekend, if an agreement is made, pending job action may not occur.
