A local man won himself a bunch of money yesterday at the Calgary Stampede.
Morgan Grant from Granton won the tie down roping event with a time of 7 seconds.
That netted him $100,000
Grant also took second in steer wrestling, allowing him to pocket another $25,000.
His time in that competition was 4.1 seconds.
