United Way Perth-Huron’s Annual Campaign off to good start

It’s off and running for the United Way Perth-Huron’s Annual Campaign in Stratford and area.

Back in September, officials with the organization announced that the fundraising goal for this year’s campaign is $1.633 million with the money going towards supporting the work they do to help address issues like poverty, homelessness and mental health.

So far, the campaign is already at twenty per cent of its goal with a while to go yet.

United Way Perth-Huron Executive Director Ryan Erb says the community continues to help those in need.

“Well over $300-thousand in so we’re doing fantastic, a little bit ahead of last year which we’re so grateful for,  its early days but thankful for the generosity of this community.”

Last year, the organization surpassed its annual campaign goal with a total of $1,452,000. raised.
