Mornington Communications Co-operative Ltd. first Living Wage Employer in Milverton

Milverton has its first Living Wage Employer.

The United Way Perth-Huron says Mornington Communications Co-operative Limited is the first business in the village to be certified as a Living Wage Employer in the champion category.

Calculated annually by the United Way Perth-Huron’s Social Research and Planning Council, the living wage is a calculation based on the living expenses of a family of four with both adults working full-time for 35 hours a week, once government transfers and deductions are taken into account.

Perth-Huron Counties Living Wage is $17.44 an hour.
