Perfect Thanksgiving long weekend to get outside in the Stratford area

Overall, it looks like it’s shaping up to be a Thanksgiving long weekend to get outside.

With the lone exception of Saturday where Environment Canada says there’s a good chance of rain, the rest of the time appears like it will be perfect weather to enjoy a walk through the fall leaves.

The weather agency says a mix of sun and clouds is on the way Friday, Sunday and Thanksgiving Monday with daytime highs around 11 degrees.

There are numerous events going on around the area to enjoy over the long weekend including the Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade on Monday.

Just remember to pack a sweater just in case!
