Stratford area saw slight decrease in unemployment rate in September

The unemployment rate in the Stratford area decreased slightly last month.

The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says the unemployment rate in the Stratford-to-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region dropped 0.1 percentage points in September to 4.2 per cent.

That number remains the lowest unemployment rate in Ontario.

Provincially, the unemployment rate decreased to 5.8 per cent.
