Stratford Used Book Sale coming up

A chance to grab some reading material while helping out those who need it in the community.

PF Solutions say they, and a large group of dedicated volunteers, are ramping up for the next Stratford Used Book Sale on Saturday, October 26th.

In its sixth year, the sale starts at 10 a.m. at Factory 163 on King Street in Stratford with all books costing $1.00.

Money raised through the sale goes to PF Solutions which is a practice first program where individuals facing barriers to employment attend over a period of time to upgrade their administration and customer service skills and gain work experience.

Officials say the program helps between 30 to 36 participants a year to gain employment and participants are welcome from both Perth and Huron Counties.

Book donations are still welcome, and you can click here to see a list of drop off locations.
