Police: North Perth resident charged after damaging election signs

A 22-year-old North Perth resident has been charged after police say they damaged election signs.

Perth County OPP say they were called out on Saturday to a report of the signs being damaged in Millbank.

Police say a concerned citizen contacted them after viewing a social media post of someone driving over a sign and after investigating, officers identified the vehicle and the driver.

The 22-year-old was arrested and charged with Mischief under $5-thousand.

They are scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on December 9th.
