Stratford Police investigating shed break-ins

Stratford Police are searching for those responsible after they say several sheds were broken into.

Sunday morning, police say they were called out to a home on Duke Street after a shed was broken into and a bike stolen overnight.

They say the padlock on the shed door had been cut with the bicycle described as a high visibility yellow Giant XTC Advanced mountain bike, with a value of nearly $3000.

Police say the bike was secured inside the shed and the lock had been damaged in order to remove it.

They add that padlocks had also been cut from shed doors at another home on Duke Street and two sheds at a home on Princess Street.

Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call Stratford Police or Crime Stoppers.
