The City of Stratford is recognizing outstanding members of the community.
Stratford held an awards presentation Tuesday night where local individuals and teams who won provincial or national competitions, along with others who made outstanding accomplishments, were recognized.
Among those recognized was Ruth Kneider, the co-founder of the charity Simple Dreams Ministries, who received the 2019 Senior of the Year Award.
Also recognized with the Ted Blowes Community Service Award was Peter Mussen who has spent years volunteering with various organizations including the St. James Anglican Church Food Bank.
