The Stratford Police are asking for your help in finding a stolen truck.

Police say an officer saw the truck yesterday morning nearly get into an accident on Romeo Street near Line 33.

The officer pursued but quickly abandoned the chase due to the risk to public safety.

A short time later video surveillance showed that a truck matching the description of the one involved in the chase may have been involved in thefts from vehicles at several Stratford businesses.

If you see a grey 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with licence plate number 356 2HY you’re asked to call the Stratford Police immediately at 519-271-4147.
