Perth County OPP are warning the public about a phone scam.
Police say there have been complaints received that a caller posing as a representative of the Township of Perth East is phoning individuals across the province.
They say the caller demands the victim’s personal information and threatens legal action if individuals do not comply.
You’re being reminded to never send money, or give credit card or online account details to anyone you do not know and trust and to never give out any personal information over the phone, in an email or when you are chatting online.
