Funding is coming from Ontario to help create new child care spaces in our area.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says the province has given the Avon Maitland District School Board approval to go ahead with the construction of three new child care additions in Perth County.
They represent 137 new spaces and an investment of $4.4-million.
The projects are part of the province’s capital investment program and will include 15 new spaces at the Sprudedale Public School in Shakespeare, 73 spaces at the Stratford Education and Recreation Centre and 49 new spaces at the Upper Thames Elementary School in Mitchell.
