(Supplied by MPP Randy Pettapiece's office) The MPP for Perth-Wellington says he’s pleased to see major investments in rural Ontario outlined in the province’s Fall Economic Statement. Randy Pettapiece says the investments are coming in such things as hospitals, schools, and trade promotion. He made the comments after Minister of Finance Rod Phillips unveiled the statement Thursday. The Ford government says it’s on track to balance the province’s budget by 2023-24. They add that the 2019-20 deficit has also fallen from $10.3-billion to $9-billion.
