Nursing shortage leads to reduction in hours at Clinton Public Hospital

The Clinton Public Hospital will see a change in operating hours due to a nursing shortage.
Starting Monday, December 2nd, officials say the hospital’s emergency department will be accepting patients from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and it will be closed overnight.
They say the new hours will stay in place until further notice.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says it has been experiencing significant recruitment challenges at the Clinton hospital for the past five years.
