You’re being warned to keep your eyes out for another scam making the rounds.
It comes after police say a senior in Norfolk County lost around $300-thousand in a so called “romance scam.”
They say they got a call late last week from a victim who said they had built up a relationship with someone they met on a dating website.
The victim made several money transfers to the suspect between July and this month after being told they were for emergencies.
Police haven’t said if they have arrested anyone in connection to the crimes or if they are still looking into what happened.
