Trial for man accused of killing former Stratford woman continues

A California man’s trial is set to resume this week.

Douglas Bradford is charged in the cold-case murder of his ex-girlfriend Lynne Knight, a former Stratford resident.

Knight, who was 28-years-old at the time, was killed at her Torrance home in 1979.

According to the Los Angeles Times opening statements in the trial were given last week.

Bradford pleaded not guilty in 2009.
