Perth District Health Unit helping low-income seniors with dental health

The Perth District Health Unit is helping low-income seniors take care of their dental health.

The new Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program was launched by the province on Wednesday and it provides free, routine dental services with the goal of keeping seniors healthy.

In Perth County, the program is being delivered by the PDHU.

Eligible seniors can apply to the program online at Ontario.ca/SeniorsDental, or by mail, with application forms available at the health unit.

Two application days are being held by the PDHU, one in Stratford on December 5th and the other in Milverton the next day, where staff will help those interested apply to take part in the program.

You can visit the PDHU’s website to learn more.
