Listowel man charged in fatal summer collision

A 24-year-old Listowel man has now been charged after a fatal collision last summer

Back on the morning of July 16th, first responders were called to a two-vehicle collision on Amberley Road west of Molesworth.

Police say the man who was charged was driving a pickup truck westbound on Amberley Road when his vehicle crossed the centre line into the path of an oncoming dump truck.

Fifty-five-year-old Paul Douglas was driving the dump truck and was killed in the collision.

Travis Bender has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Death and is scheduled to be in court in Goderich on December 17th.
