Perth County OPP say they’ve been called out several times this year about vehicles being stolen or brokenĀ into.
The latest tookĀ place on November 20th when a vehicle in Mitchell was broken into and a debit card was taken and used at a local business.
A 56-year-old man from Grand Bend was arrested and faces several charges including theft under $5-thousand.
Police say crimes like these could have been stopped if the vehicles were locked and if the vehicle’s owner had just held onto the keys.
