It appears that winter is back with a vengeance.
After several days last week that made it feel like it wasn’t late November, the first day of December saw freezing rain come down across the region.
That prompted a Freezing Rain Warning to be issued by Environment Canada and the freezing temperatures also lead to a number of power outages.
First responders were also called out to numerous collisions because of the weather.
There is good news though, the forecast is calling for mainly cloudy skies Monday with only a slight chance of flurries.
