Andrew Williams is firing back.
The President and CEO of the Stratford General Hospital is responding to criticisms made by the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions.
He says the Huron Perth Health Care Alliance’s decision to close 17 hospital beds is not about funding concerns and he wishes OCHU would call him.

Williams says even if the extra money came, the beds will still close and the money would be invested elsewhere.
He also responded to OCHU President Michael Hurley’s suggestion that he’s too afraid of losing his job to stand up to the Wynne Government.
