It’s a sight that’s become a holiday tradition in Stratford.
The 25-foot spruce Christmas tree is now set up in the front of Stratford City Hall.
Every year, officials say the city accepts a donated spruce tree from a homeowner who was going to have it removed from their property anyway.
They add that some homeowners will even put off having the tree removed until this time of the year so that it can be used by the city.
